Cyberpunk 2077 dev has a technical advice for players

In anticipation of the imminent release of Phantom Liberty, Filip Pierściński from CD Projekt Red has issued a an advise to players. He urges them to “please check conditions of your cooling systems in PC,”, as the forthcoming DLC will demand a substantial amount of processing power, even from high-end machines. In fact, players should brace themselves for the DLC consuming approximately 90% of their computer’s processing capabilities.

It’s evident that CD Projekt Red has spared no effort in the development of Phantom Liberty. Fans are even dubbing it “Cyberpunk 2.0” owing to the extensive array of alterations and exciting features slated for the game’s expansion. For those unfamiliar, Phantom Liberty will immerse players in a “spy-thriller” narrative, where the playable protagonist V embarks on a journey to uncharted territories. Along the way, they’ll acquire new weaponry, undergo a Cyberware overhaul, and acquire other thrilling enhancements.

CD Projekt Red is set to unveil Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077, a fresh locale drawing inspiration from South American drug lords. Additionally, fans can anticipate the introduction of a new character, Solomon Reed, portrayed by none other than Idris Elba. Solomon Reed will lend a helping hand to V as they embark on a mission to rescue the President of the New United States. And fear not, Keanu Reeves makes a triumphant return as Johnny Silverhand once more.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is set to release on September 26, 2023, and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
