On April 12th, 2025, the EC Hall of the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science in Bucharest became the stage for laughter, smart guesses, and competitive team spirit. The occasion? “What Do the Automatics Say?” — a vibrant event brought to life by the Students’ League (LSAC), blending fun, strategy and a whole lot of ACS inside jokes.

What is “What Do the Automatics Say?”

Inspired by the classic Family Feud format, this event offers a fun and interactive experience, tailored to the unique student life at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science. The goal of the LSAC organizers is to bring students together in an informal setting, where classmates become teammates and professors – playful opponents or even rivals – all within a relaxed, friendly, and humorous atmosphere.

It’s an event that combines teamwork with “AC-style” jokes and succeeds, year after year, in bringing the academic community closer together.

How did this year’s edition go?

The 2025 edition brought together 32 teams, each made up of 3 students, along with a surprise entry — a team formed by faculty members, who were warmly welcomed by the audience. Throughout the day, around 250–300 people gathered in the EC Hall to cheer, laugh, and enjoy the friendly competition.

After several rounds of clever questions and entertaining moments, team MAC stood out and was crowned the winner of this year’s edition.

This event wouldn’t have been the same without the support of our partners: Tremend – Publicis Sapient, Academia Titi Aur, Castel Film Studios, Fundația Voci Strămoși, Pfanner, Capri-Sun, Vmax Electric Indoor Karting, Club99, RoStar, Army Paintball Bucharest, Shotify, Nostalgia Festival, ISIC and Blokx.

A special thank you goes to the official sponsor, Tremend – Publicis Sapient, who provided gifts for all participants, lunch pizza, a raffle prize, and special rewards for the top 3 ranked teams in the competition.

Beyond their direct support, Tremend stands out through their ongoing commitment to empowering tech student communities, supporting initiatives that add value to education and bridge the gap between academia and the IT industry.Events like this show just how powerful student-led initiatives can be when backed by passionate communities and industry support.
