This year’s edition brings an exciting agenda featuring interactive workshops, coding competitions, and insightful conferences hosted by industry leaders. For professionals, ITFest Timișoara offers unique opportunities for skill enhancement, career development, and networking through:
- MEGA MeetUp – A gathering of all user groups in Timișoara, discussing “The Future of Work in Tech in 5 Years.”
- Women in Tech Conference – An inspirational event celebrating International Women’s Day, connecting students with leading women in tech for success stories and networking.
- ITFest Timișoara Hackathon – A 48-hour challenge where experienced teams from Timișoara and beyond tackle real-world problems through four competitive tracks:
- Track 1: Community Problems
- Track 2: Public Administration
- Track 3: Medical Technology Applications
- Track 4: Educational Applications in Universities
A special Civic Society Track is introduced this year, in collaboration with local and national NGOs. Participants choosing Track 1 will develop innovative solutions for social challenges identified by these organizations. The best applications will have the opportunity for further development in direct collaboration with the NGOs. Participants will receive a document outlining the challenges 14 days before the event, allowing them to prepare their solutions.
Pre-Hackathon Workshops
To prepare participants for the hackathon, a series of thematic workshops will provide an introduction to each competition track.
