GoTech World, the largest B2B expo-conference with IT and digital solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, will take place this year on November 12 and 13, 2024, at Romexpo, building B1. The theme of the current edition focuses on how the future of society is defined by emerging technologies beyond artificial intelligence. Internationally renowned speakers will take to the 11 stages to present the latest trends in IT, with an impact on the future of the entire society, and visitors will be able to interact with the technologies proposed by the exhibiting companies.
“GoTech World aims to continue this year the theme started in 2023, going beyond artificial intelligence and exploring in depth a series of emerging technologies and, above all, the influence they have and will have on the society in which we live. This year, we’re encouraging all leaders to take active roles in shaping the trajectory of AI and other next-generation technologies so that they bring tangible benefits to the world we live in. At the same time, the current edition brings new scenes to the public, adapted to the needs of industry professionals”, said Alexandru Măxineanu, Managing Partner, Universum Expo.
At the 13th edition of GoTech World, the organizers expect approx. 15,000 participants, around 7000 of them from the C-level category. At the same time, the public will be able to take part in over 100 content sessions, supported by over 120 speakers, and will be able to visit the stands of approx. 100 exhibitors.
The already known structure of the event is preserved this year, but two new stages are introduced – the Build.AI Stage and the Software Architecture Stage – which, along with the related exhibition areas, are dedicated to the technical audience. At the same time, the Digital Marketing and e-Commerce scene returns to the event, where topics such as omni-channel marketing, the importance of short and impactful video content or the concrete integration of AI solutions in marketing will be developed.
Thus, GoTech World 2024 offers, as always, ample space for the exhibiting companies and the business solutions they present, along with 11 thematic stages, where the topics of the moment in the tech area will be debated: Main Stage, Digital Marketing & E-commerce Stage, Sustainability Stage, Cybersecurity Stage, AI Stage, Software Architecture Stage, DevOps Stage, Business Transformation Stage, Smart City Stage, Product & UX Design Stage and Build.AI Stage.
Over the course of the two days of the event, GoTech World 2024 will bring to the fore several topics critical to the future of technology and business. Central themes include presentations on the synergy between humanity and AI, while also exploring the ethical aspects behind it. Energy efficiency, deepfakes and data privacy are other topics covered in the current edition.
Moreover, visitors will have the opportunity to attend presentations about successful examples of smart cities in the world, participate in debates about ethical business practices and sustainable supply chains, as well as explore the level of sustainability in the Romanian business environment. Innovations of major impact will also be presented, such as the bionic hand that restores the sense of touch to amputees, immersive technologies that were the basis of productions such as Peaky Blinders or artificial intelligence in space.
