Apple’s September 10 Event: New iPhones, Watches, and AirPods?

Apple targets Sept. 10 debut for new iPhones, AirPods, Watches and AI

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is planning to hold its annual product launch event on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. The event is expected to introduce the iPhone 16 models, next-generation Apple Watch models, and new AirPods. The devices are slated to launch on Friday, September 20, with new software like iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia likely releasing a few days prior.

The iPhone 16 lineup is set to feature more powerful A18 chips compatible with Apple Intelligence. All models will support iOS 18 and include a new Capture Button for taking photos. The Pro and Pro Max versions are expected to have slightly larger displays and an improved 48-megapixel Ultra Wide camera. Standard iPhone 16 models will introduce the Action Button.

Apple Watch updates include the Series 10, a new Apple Watch SE, and a refreshed Apple Watch Ultra. The standard Apple Watch is expected to feature a thinner design with larger displays.

Two new AirPods 4 models are planned: a lower-end version similar to current AirPods and a higher-end model with Active Noise Cancellation.

While Apple has not officially announced the event date, media invites are expected to be sent out soon.
