Get ready for your favourite backyard tech party – IT BBQ Fest Iasi! We’re bringing together developers, entrepreneurs, creatives, and tech lovers for a day full of innovation, inspiration, and… BBQ!
Organized by HowAbout.Tech, in partnership with Tremend – Publicis Sapient and Ness Digital Engineering, and in collaboration with Palas, the event aims to become a local tradition that blends bold ideas, networking, and the laid-back vibe of a festival.
This year, the event comes with a special context, as Tremend celebrates 20 years of activity. As a token of appreciation for the community that has grown alongside the company, Tremend is offering 300 free tokens and the chance to win an Insta360 X5 Sport Camera, 8K, 360°, and to make the event even more enjoyable, Ness Digital Engineering is preparing surprises for the community, while we’re offering an additional 100 free vouchers for burgers and beer, which will be awarded during the event’s activities, giving even more participants the chance to enjoy delicious food and refreshing drinks.
Set in a relaxed outdoor space, this isn’t your typical tech event. It’s where conversations spark over burgers, and not just any burgers, but the mouth-watering creations from Chef Munti and Gourmand Brothers, where ideas flow as freely as the drinks provided by Ursus Breweries and real connections are made under the open sky.

We’ve got a full-on LEGO Robo Party waiting just for them, where they’ll build and program their very own LEGO robot, test it in action, and dive into fun, hands-on activities with new friends. It’s learning, laughter, and a little bit of sci-fi magic, all rolled into one, powered by VV Universe!
Tickets? General admission is free! All you need to do is register to join the fun and get the chance to win one of the 400+ free vouchers for burgers and beer, or even a Insta360 sport video camera. If your company isn’t a partner handing out festival tokens, no worries, you can still swing by and win BBQ tokens on the spot through our enthusiastic activities and games!
